Electrifying Bradfield

Electrifying Bradfield is about doing what we can to support adoption of renewable energy within the Upper North Shore. We have a vision of a cleaner, cheaper energy future made possible by the electrification of our  houses and transport. This vision is heavily influenced by Saul Griffiths and 'Rewiring Australia'.

Support Us

Electrifying Bradfield works mainly using volunteer time. Contributing $50 goes a long way to helping us run solar information nights, attend markets and fairs and provide educational materials.

Note that Electrifying Bradfield is a not-for-profit, although not a certified charity (DGR).

Electrifying Bradfield

Why electrify Bradfield?
Ku-ring-gai and Hornsby residents decided they wanted to make a difference to the challenges of our times - the climate emergency by grassroots community action.

What is the goal of electrifying Bradfield?
To encourage and support every household in the Bradfield electorate to generate, store and use renewable energy, principally from solar power and battery storage by 2032.
